Muhammad Amir also known as Mohammad Aamer, is a Pakistani international cricketer and a left-arm fast bowler, he was born on 13 April 1992, in Gujjar Khan, Punjab. Amir was the second youngest of seven children in his family and was born in the Chohan tribe of the Gujjar family. Amir in his childhood played street cricket, his favorite bowler is Wasim Akram he often tried to emulate his hero, and Amir said that Wasim Akram is his idol. He always tried to do exactly what Wasim Akram is doing with the ball, at a very young age when he was playing street cricket he imitates his bowling actions in Wasim Akram’s style. At the age of 11 years, in 2003 Amir was picked at a local tournament and invited to move with the sports academy which was set up by the Bajwa in Rawalpindi. Amir after joining the national team moved to Lahore with his family due to the closer to top-flight cricket facilities.

Amir was spotted as a prospect by Wasim Akram at a fast bowling camp in 2007, as Wasim Akram remarked that Amir was a much more clever fast bowler than he was at the age of 18 years. In 2008 Amir made his domestic career debut for the Rawalpindi Rams and concurrently represented the NBP-National Bank of Pakistan. Mohammad Amir made his T20 International debut in the group levels of the 2009 ICC World Cup T20 against England, Amir took the key wicket of Ravi Bopara at just his second ball. He continued to give his outstanding performances as the tournament continued, he took the wickets in his first spell and also at the end of his spell, He was very effective at using the short ball with his bouncers that rushed onto the batsmen. On 24 July 2010, Amir performed very well against Australia and help Pakistan to win the 2 and Test match. The 1 st test match had won by Pakistan in the 15 years, which also drew 1-1 series, Amir took 7 wickets during this test match and was declared man of the match. In the second test match, Amir was the top wicket-taker of both teams.

In 2010 Mohammad Amir was awarded the title of man of the match for becoming the youngest cricketer to ever take a five-wicket haul in England. Amir also became the youngest player to take 50 test wickets. Amir was praised from so many former international cricketers for his outstanding performances in the test match.
